Our farm apprentice has arrived. Michael picked him up at the airport yesterday afternoon. We hope he learns a lot during his stay and that he has a good time!! :)
After supper we went out so he could see the baby lambs. We caught one of the lambs for him to get some lamby lovins' in. :)
What a great place to learn about farming! I am sure you will love having him there as much as he will enjoy learning new things. :-)
You are blessed!
How long will he be with you? Will he stay with you? How do you come about getting an apprentice? Where did he come from? More details.
Perri, he is the son of a friend of mine in Delaware. Sharri (http://sharrissnapzshotz.blogspot.com/) and I met on the internet about 8 years ago. She and her family came out and stayed a weekend with us about 7 years ago. Then they came to Florida for Joshua's wedding. That are the only 2 times we have met in person. :) Brad wanted to try his hand at farming and so he is here for 2 weeks. He will get to see part of the fun and not so fun sides of farming. We will be posting about his time here. It is part of his homeschooling this year.
