Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

Today my blessing is the men in my life. I am very grateful for my sweet Michael. We have been married for 30 years and I can't imagine life without him. He is Mr. Steady. He is a wonderful husband, father, son and friend. My life is blessed to be his wife. I am grateful for my son. He is now the head of his own household and they just moved around the corner from us. I am also grateful to still have my dad. I appreciate him even more since I lost my mom. He is up here for the summer, so I am able to see him.

My 3 year old daughter asks that we pray before she goes to sleep. She wants to learn more about God, and really seems to be learning. It's amazing to see God work in such a young life.

I needed this reminder this morning - I so often take the blessings in my life for granted or just don't recognize them at all because I dwell on the things that aren't quite right or the way I'd like them to be.

Thanks.

I have so much to be thankful for.

I am thankful that my husband is such a wonderful father! He really is a blessing to each one of us, but especially in his role as father.
We love him!
