Video Worth Watching!!

My family and I watched the above video from Vision Forum. We do not have any daughters, but there was SO MUCH to glean about family life and what is important. It is very worthwhile to see. There are extras on the DVD about how sisters should relate to their brothers, about a beautiful courtship and the Biblical Foundations of families and how important they are. You can click on the link above or in the side bar. The link above will take you directly to the page with the DVD on it.

Many of the families that are around here have very mature children in many areas. They can clean, cook, care for a family, work hard outside the home with their dads. This video shows some young people with maturity in not just those areas, but in family life and more important spiritually. It really shines through.

The weather has been the typical gray Ohio winter days. The temperature is a bit better. It is currently 45 degrees. Joshua and I are still battling this cold/cough thing. It is all in his head, which makes it hard to sleep. My friend, Terri makes a tea for her family when they are sick. I made some yesterday and I had 4 cups and Joshua had some as well. It sounded like it would be really gross, but it was really not bad. I may make more today. For one cup of tea, take a large garlic clove and mince it. Then take a piece of fresh ginger root the same size and mince it. Put them in a tea ball. Add 1 Tblsp. of lemon juice. Then add boiling water. If you like (which we did) you can add a teaspoon of honey. Let it steep until good and strong and then drink it up.

It's so nice to hear a recommendation from someone I know. Ever since I "heard" about it I wanted to see it. :D

Marci, Barry & I purchased this video a couple of weeks ago, and yes, we agree, there is so much to glean about family life, and not only the of raising godly daughters. We also highly recommend it! Thank you for helping to bring attention to this great project.

Marci,

I'm sorry that you and Joshua are still under the weather. I have had ginger root tea but never with garlic.

Check the health food store and see if they have Breathe Ezy Tea. Not sure just how it is spelled but it works wonders on stuffiness and breathing problems.

Blessings,
Mary
