We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

Count Your Blessings Monday
I started something new two weeks ago. Too often we don't take time to count our blessings. So, I am going to give us an opportunity every Monday to not only count our blessings, but to share them with others. Make a post on your blog telling us about your blessing. You can snag the picture above and use it on your blog. Please put a link back to this post. You can add the URL of the page you share your blessing on for others to go to. Many of our blessings we will have pictures of and we can share those as well. It looks like only 2 people out of all the people that come to the blog each day actually had a blessing to share. That can't be true. =) It is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us.
Last week, Ginny told that she was thankful first and foremost for the Lord. That is a given in my life as well. I was talking of sharing our earthly blessings. This week, I want to share my Parents. I was raised in a godly home for which I am so thankful. My Mom is no longer down here with us, but in her heavenly home waiting on us to join her. I still have my Dad and I am so thankful for that. He is a major blessing. He is up visiting still from Florida. He is going home later this week, and I don't know how long it will be until I can see him again. If you have not taken the time lately to tell your parents that you love them, do it today!!!

I'm thankful for my dear, sweet husband of almost 20 yrs....my 2 children--and that they are walking with God...Christian friends that love the Lord-and the encouragement I find in watching their walk...
God is so good! And all of my blessings come from HIM!

What a wonderful blessing you shared. What sweet photos of your parents. I'm sure you are enjoying your time with your dad and look forward to time with your mom, again. Praise the Lord we do have that to look forward to!

Sorry I'm a little late posting. I'll try to catch up and be on time next time. Lovely weekly blogger activity. Thanks.
Your mom was beautiful --- I am sure you miss her very much. I'm sorry for your loss.
Thank you for visiting Gracious Hospitality today and leaving me a message. I'm happy to have 'found' your blog as a result. It's beautiful --- I love all your farm animal pictures especially.
