Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!
Today I am thankful that my husband has a job. I know that many have lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. He has had to take off 2 weeks of unpaid leave before June, but they are allowing him to take it a day a pay period so that we don't feel the crunch all at one time. I am also thankful that my husband is a hard working, loyal employee who gives his best to the company for the Lord's sake. He has worked a lot of overtime that last couple of weeks as he was filling in for someone plus doing his own job, and it is without pay. He wanted to make sure he did his job and did it well. I am blessed.

I am thankful to have a home - in which the Lord is showing me that He intends to use for Hospitality as well as our homeschooling and family refuge.
In our county we are blessed beyond measure in that we have the simple things like running water, electricity, heat & air, etc., while others in this world live in practically one room with none of those things - yet even there many practice hospitality - so what's my excuse? A dirty floor? Hey, at least it's not just a dirt floor! Most of us know this already in our heads, but how many of us practice it in our hearts?
So my blessing is our home, in which I can use my talents to make into an example of a Christian woman's ministry to the glory of our Lord.

There is the link to my post. Thank you for hosting this! I too have my husband's job as something I am thankful for. It is a blessing to have husbands who are willing to work, isn't it?
