Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

Today the blessing I am counting is family. Many times I get very disjointed from family because we all have busy lives. I have been trying this year to be more mindful to not let that happen. We are not promised a tomorrow with them. Yesterday, my baby brother and his wife came over and had dinner and spent the afternoon with us. It was a good time of visiting and sharing.

Also, I have Joshua and Brittany really close by and get to see them often. I try to talk to my Dad on the phone several times a week. I am blessed.

Hi Marci,
How are you feeling? You didn't mention it, but I hope that stubborn infection you were fighting has left you alone finally.

I'm feeling grateful today for the blessing of friends. Since I can't get out much, I am reliant on people coming to visit so I can get some much-needed fellowship. A close friend came over on Friday with her children. We ate lunch together, then the kids played in the snow while we chatted indoors. It is such a comfort to me that someone would take the time out of her busy schedule (she's a pastor's wife heavily involved in new church/ministry to homeless plus homeschooling) to come and see little ole me. Did my heart glad.

I'm thankful, too, for friends like you whom I've met online, and if we were to ever meet, I know we would be comfortable in each others presence. Thank you, Lord, for friends!

Have a blessed day in the Lord!
