Farm Stuff

We ended up with about 2 inches of snow the other day. They said we would get no more than 1/2 of an inch. :) We are under a winter storm warning for today and tomorrow. I have heard 2 to 4 inches up to 6 to 8 inches. Let's see if they are correct. According to the radar it is snowing here. If you stare really hard out the window, you might see a small flake every now and then. It is cold though.

I am going through all of my books and selling some. I am selling them on various places around the web. Books are like friends to me. I have a hard time letting go of them. I have pulled several out of the to sell stack, because I looked in them. :) I have more to go through and maybe I will have to go back through all of them with a more critical eye. I need to get rid of things. After I go through the books, I will start through all my crafting type stuff. I had really pared myself down when I moved from Florida to Ohio. I need to pare down again. No one needs all of these things.

I am going to be announcing another give away on my blog. I will be making a separate post on it though. Watch for it. It will be a good one!!!

I need to get our ram to the auction. It is hard to plan that type of stuff without a truck. Joshua has a truck, but he uses it for work, so often times it is not available. We are going to be short on hay and the sooner we get rid of him, the less hay that will be used. I am still trying to choose which ewes I will get rid of. Then I will need to find a way to get them to their new home as well.

Thanks for the visit to my blog ~ I'll try and scan some of the pictures in my bedtime book to share.

Yes...I sure hope we get snow. As for the children playing with Papa in it. We will have to wait and see. This is his Saturday to work. He is normally home around 3:30, but with the weather I just pray he makes it home safely. Hey, did you see on my homeschool blog that the children made their own butter?! They had so much fun doing it! :-)

Sounds like you are really busy. I had to do a lot of paring down before we moved up here, and it's tough to do. I didn't part with many of our books, though, and they are still boxed up and stored on shelves at the ceiling. We'll have so much fun the day we move upstairs and can actually unpack them -- like seeing old friends!
