Just a few more pictures....

There are probably many of you who are sick of seeing the Autumn pictures. I on the other hand, don't get sick of seeing them, taking them or sharing them. =) We had to go and get a chain saw blade today. Here are some of the sights along the way. The peak is well past, but it is still beautiful. If you click on the first picture, you will notice it is an Amish farm with their corn shocks out in the field.

Michael went to cut wood today. I decided to clean out the calf stall. I got it all cleaned out, and then I put a generous layer of DE down and then put a fluffy layer of straw down. Phil A. Mignon, would not leave me alone. He kept standing where I wanted to put the straw or DE. He would bump into me when I leaned down to get more straw to scatter. He blocked my way when I was trying to carry the bale of straw into the pen. I finally got Star in there with me. When he would start to come over to bother me, I would tell Star to get him. She would jump his direction and bark. He would scoot outside until he found another way in. =) The other calves came in as well although they did not bug me like he did. They would go over on the fresh hay and then tinkle or poop. I guess they like to go on a fresh potty. Anyway, I got it all done. Here is their nice clean stall.

I really enjoy looking at your pictures! They are all so beautiful and relaxing. I love to see all of God's creation, so I guess that is why I enjoy seeing the pictures. :-)

Beautiful job on the stall, darling. I know it was hard work! :-D We spent the day in the garden and mowing. We are VERY sore!!!

I don't get sick of your Autumn pictures at all, Marci! The more the better. :0) It has been hard to come back to green trees after all the wonderful colors we saw in New England. Seeing your pictures reminded me of my trip last week!
Hugs,
Kelli

You could never post too many autumn pictures for me! I laughed over your stall-cleaning story-of course it's always funnier when it happens to someone else.
I've never had larger animals to care for, but our chickens were a hoot! Like you, I'd be trying to clean out the coop and put fresh hay in their pen (meanwhile, we'd let them run loose in our fenced in yard)but they always wanted to be where the action was and couldn't wait to get to that fresh hay. :-) Very funny!
Keep on posting those autumn pictures until there are no leaves left!!

A nice post. A clean and tidy stall for livestock is a job well done.

I never get tired of your beautiful autumn shots. Love those two trees. We don't have much color here this year. Mainly yellows. I love the reds.

I enjoyed my visit, as always. Blessings,
Mary
