Kelli hosts a show and tell Friday. Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!
I wanted to share my Tater & Onion Bin. The top part of it is a bread box. My son, Joshua made this for me when he was 15 years old. It is one of my special pieces of furniture.

Marci,
That really is a fine piece that your son made. You'll treasure it for years, I'm sure. Blessings...

Wow, someday I'll have to post the piece of "furniture" my husband made. I love my husband and respect him very much but your son is a much better carpenter. LOL.
He made it when he was only 15!!! WOW! What a great carpenter he is!
Wow - definitely a talented young man you have there! Is he still intersted in carpentry?
Wow! He did a wonderful job to have been 15 at the time! What a thoughtful son to have made it for you.

Lana, he is now 23 and a contractor that is in high demand. He does great work and people have shared his name with friends. He loves building and wood and beauty in homes.
This would be a favorite of mine also if a son had made it....what a nice gift......
Thank you for visiting and commenting on my grandmother's picture....Betty
How great to have a piece that your son made--and so useful at the same time. I'm sure it will always have a special place in your home.
Wow, he is so talented to have done that when he was so young! What a treasure!
