An Inexpensive Way to Change Your Look

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Glidden. All opinions are 100% mine.

I know several people that regularly paint rooms in their house. One is my Sister-in-law. She has very distinct tastes and likes to change the moods of her room every few years. One of the ways she does this is with paint. It is a fairly inexpensive way to re-decorate. Painting always intimidated me until she came and helped me paint a bedroom. It was not that hard.

We put up a new wall in our living room. I knew that if I painted that wall, that I would need to paint the other walls as well. I wasn't sure if I wanted the same color or not. Well, Glidden has a couple of ways for you to try out colors. One of the ways is their GliddenTM Ready-to-Go Paint Testers. They are unique from other brands because there is a brush mounted right inside the lid for total ease of use. They are very inexpensive and can be found in any Home Depot paint department. They allow you to test paint a small area without having to buy a quart. They are also wonderful for touch ups from scratches caused by children or moving furniture. They will cover up stains or even cover over art work your children leave. The tester are also much easier to store for touch ups than messy half filled cans of paint.

The other way to help you decide on what color to paint is Glidden's room painter. When we painted our living room, I used this tool to see what the different colors would look like in a room. It also allows you to see what a wall with a complimentary but different paint color will look like side by side. There is even another room that is connected if you want to see if colors clash. It was this tool that helped me to decide on the colors I chose. Go check out the Room Painter Tool and see what colors you like.

They also show you what the top 10 colors are and they have oversized paint chips to help you decide.

I am sure that you will be pleased with Glidden paint and the colors available. I know that I will be seeing what they have to offer when I paint another room.
