Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

I am thankful that my Dad is doing a bit better. They may move him to a step down unit today. He did not look so good yesterday and I was worried. I am grateful they caught it in time and that the doctors were so quick to work on him.

What are you thankful for?

Marci! I am thankful for you!!!

And....I am thankful that the Lord uses all things together for His glory and our good - and that as life ebbs and flows according to His gracious plan our faith is built up as we see His plan unfolding!

I am thankful that I am learning to be thankful for every little thing...to be chastised by our Lord in my heart when I begin (again) to think too highly of myself, and for the ability He has recently given me to Overlook...messes, offenses, mistakes...He came for sinners like me, and that is unfathomable!

Praise to His holy and worthy name!!!

I am grateful, too, that your Dad is doing better.

And, I'm very thankful that I didn't get hurt last night when a shelf above my stove came crashing down on top of my stove. I had foolishly stored glass gallon jars of wheat berries and sea salt up there, and the jars fell onto my glass stovetop. I could have been hurt, since I had just heated milk for yogurt on there. The accident didn't hurt my stove top, either. I have much to be thankful for.

I am thankful that we have a GOD who hears and answers our prayers...
and so, I am thankful for your Dad's improvement--it's a direct result! :)

We're praying for you!

I'm grateful for the revealing of Himself that the Lord gives me through the trials He allows in my life. For His incredible generosity of blessings raining down even amidst the really hard times.

For my beautiful future with Him!!
