General Store Autumn Give Away!!!

This contest was over at midnight on Saturday.  I will be drawing numbers today!!

Most of you who read here regularly, know that we have an online store.  We sell products for your homestead kitchen and products that we believe in and use ourselves.  Our store is called Amazing Graze Farm General StoreWe like to do giveaways through out the year.  We are going to do an Autumn give away.  There will be 3 separate prizes that will go to 3 separate individuals.  I will tell you a little bit about the prizes.
First of all, you know that we have Wonderful Neighbors.  :)  They have helped us out more times than I can count.  The other evening, the 3 oldest WN children had to help us round up our milk cow that decided she liked grazing fresh grass over coming in to be milked.  The oldest WN girl is a wonderful seamstress.  She does all sorts of neat projects and makes up wonderful patterns.  Her family recently went to Williamsburg, VA and she made outfits from thrift store finds for herself and her siblings.  I would show you a picture of her handiwork but I have to get permission from the WN Mama first.  Anyway, the WN girl makes aprons to order for our customers.  We have many pleased customers that have bought her aprons and loved them.  I asked her to make me one of her Scarecrow aprons for the giveaway.  This darling lady scarecrow will be sure to bring a smile to your face.  She even has a sunflower on her hat.  Here is a picture of the apron (sorry about the busy background).
Here is a close up of her face.  I love her little straw hair showing.
I know there are many of you who will want to have her for your very own.

Our second prize is one that I have many requests for.  I have one person that tries every trick in the book to win one of these when we have given them away (Hi Suzanne!).  The prize is a Tea Tumbler in Green and a 7 oz. package of Dandy Blend.  Suzanne loves the Tea Tumbler. I have one and use it often.  It is a double walled glass container that allows your drink to stay hot or cold, but does not sweat or burn your hands while holding it.  It also has a little strainer inside so that if you used a tea bag or loose tea, you could still drink it and not get the leaves or bag in your mouth.  We will be giving away a green one like the one shown below.

I am a coffee drinker.  I do not like flavored coffee at all.  Plain old strong black coffee is my choice.  I have tried different instant coffees, but I have not been impressed at all.  Dandy Blend is better than any of the coffee substitutes that I have ever tried.  I truly enjoy it.  It is Sugar-free, Dairy-free, Pesticide-free, Gluten-free, Low carb, Low calorie, Wheat-free, Fat-free, No acidity, Caffeine-free, No bitterness, Great coffee flavor, Mineral rich, Rich & Smooth, and High antioxidant.

...and potentially helpful for...

Celiacs and gluten intolerant, Diabetics, Competitive weight lifters, PMS sufferers, Asthma sufferers, Lowering high blood pressure, Macrobiotic dieters, Lowering high cholesterol, Helping with weight loss, Liver and gall bladder ailments, Gastroesophogeal reflux, Expectant mothers, Low carbohydrate dieters, Coronary artery and heart disease, Weight Watchers, Cancer sufferers!

Dandy Blend instant dandelion beverage is the only instant herbal coffee substitute in the United States that features both the health benefits of dandelion and the rich, full-bodied flavor, smoothness and texture of real coffee. Many say that, because it lacks bitterness and acidity, it actually tastes better than coffee.
We are giving away a 7.05 oz. pouch of Dandy Blend along with the Tea Tumbler.

The last prize is a tool that will help you for years to come.  If you have ever made tomato sauce or apple sauce, you will truly appreciate this tool.  If you have not made those things, you will love this tool since it makes it so easy to do.  We are going to be giving away one of our Victorio Food Strainers.
To make apple sauce, you simply wash your apples and quarter them.  You do not need to peel them or core them.  You put them in boiling water until soft and then throw them in the hopper and turn the handle.  The peels, seeds, stems and cores come out one end into a bowl (the chickens love this) and the rest of the apple comes out sauced and into another bowl.  Then you can either eat the sauce or can it.  I pick apples that need no sugar added and just can the sauce for eating all year.  Tomatoes are just as easy.

Those are the three prizes and here is how you can win one of them.  You can have multiple entries, but you have to leave a separate comment for each one.  I have already deleted one comment because there was no name and no way to get a hold of them.  Also, they put all their entries in one comment.

First entry and you have to do this one to even be included in the giveaway - Go to the store web page and leave a comment below and list one item you would like not including any of the items listed above.
Second entry - Leave a comment letting me know which of the above 3 prizes you would choose if you win.

Third entry - Post a link to this giveaway on Facebook and leave a comment saying you did.
Fourth entry - Post a link to this giveaway on Twitter and leave a comment saying you did.
Fifth entry - Send an email to at least 5 friends and give them a link to this giveaway and leave a comment saying you did.

Sixth entry - Make a post on your blog about the giveaway and include a link to your post in a comment below.

Seventh entry - If you make a purchase from the store from October 5th, 2011 through October 15th, 2011 and in the comments area mention this contest you will get 10 additional entries.
Help us spread the word!!  This contest will run until midnight (EST) October 15th, 2011.  The winners will be announced shortly after that.  Make sure that you leave a way for me to be able to get in touch with you if you are a winner.

I love aprons. One morning when our kids were home visiting, one of the girls made a comment that I had my apron on so something good was cooking. So, my pick would be that precious apron!

Hi Marci,
If I could choose something to purchase from your store it would be the Big Birkey water filter. We have the smaller plastic one and it is really too small for our family of 6.

Lynn Bartlett said...

And, I am intrigued with the tea tumbler. Never seen one before, and I love my coffee hot! At least I hope you could use it for coffee!

Okay, Marci... Here goes! I would like a LIFETIME supply of the bamboo kitchen towels! Love love love these towels. There is only one towel in the world that could be its equal, and that is the vintage linen tea towel. Then end. Period. Thanks!

Hi Mrs. Marci! :) I went on your website, and I would have to say that my favorite things would have to be either one of the great aprons that Rachael makes, or the heavy duty metal measuring spoons...plastic, cheap-o measuring cups that break after only a couple uses are the bane of my existence right now...;-P :-)
Love you!
~Shannon

First entry: Just choose one? Can't I choose eight or nine? :o) If I had to choose just one...uhm...the measuring scoops? no, a rainbow of gamma seals? no...the snowman apron? Aaah! Maybe all three. :-D What a great mix of products you have--so glad I heard about this store on the gnowfglins webinar. :-)

CamsShel said...

Entry Two: I really want to try the Dandy Blend and that tea mug is a beautiful thing, so I'd have to ask for that if I were chosen.

Unknown said...

Out of the three, I would pick.... the Victorio Food Strainer! :-)

I shared about it on facebook! :-)

Your site was new to me. I found it by listening to a webinar from Gnowfglins from this week. I like that Down on the Farm website for reading with some coffee/tea/cider this morning. I liked the burkee water filter and I have no clue which grinder because they said those were good to have in the kitchen on the webinar. I like the longer spoons and lasagna pan too.

Woo I hope I did all this right.
I signed up for the newsletter so I reckon you have my address

Mrs. Laurie said...

List one item I would like from your farm store? Too many. This is hard. I reckon the water filter.

Mrs. Laurie said...

I reckon the General Store contest prize we'd choose would be the strainer because all natural apple sauce is a favorite of ours and we have been using it in place of oil for a while now so it'd be a handy thing to make some up to stock the cupboards.

Mrs. Laurie said...

Okay a friend who does face page is leaving a comment on her page about the contest/giveaway. thank you.

Mrs. Laurie said...

Sent 5 emails to friends/family and gave them the link to the giveaway so I'm telling you about doing it in comments.
