We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

Broilers to the Field
It was time to put the broilers out into their pens in the pasture.
Hi Marci, Do you have any suggestions for a beginner about pasturing the broilers? I just got my order of 100 Buff Orpington cockerels last Thursday, and we are going to build their accomodations very soon. I know they will be in the barn in their little brooder for a few more weeks. We don't know whether to build an all out chicken house or just a coop up off the ground, or what would be best. I'd love to know from someone with experience what would be best! TIA!

The Chicken Whisperers! LOL
They sure make a lot of noise!
Will you keep them all or do you sell some?
