Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

I am thankful this week for good friends. I had a friend spend the weekend with me. I knew she was coming sometime, but did not know until Friday that it was this weekend. She helped me get some things done and we also had some good talks. :)

I am counting down until my friend, "Moles" gets here. We have not seen each other in 34 years. I was 17 and she was either 23 or 24. Neither one of us were married or had children. :) We have a lot of catching up to do.

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for God's Grace, Mercy, Peace, and Strength. I have a friend who is caring for her mom who has Alzheimer's. She has been going through a very rough time. We live so far apart and I'm unable to physically help her, but I am doing the best thing possible to help and that is to pray. I am so thankful that God hears and answers our prayers. We may not see the answers we expect, but He DOES answer. He has given her the Peace and Strength to care for her mother during the end stage of this horrible disease. I don't know how people get through trials of life that don't rely on Jesus.

I'm glad you are getting to spend some time with your friends! That is always a special time!

I am thankful that my Mother and Father are safe after the storm/tornado that just missed them. And that my sister is also safe. There was a possible tornado in Brooklyn too.
