Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

Today, I am thankful that the Lord is patient and that His mercies are new every morning. We heard a message yesterday that said each breath, each new day, each morning you wake up is a gift from God, because we don't deserve that. How often do we take the gift of life for granted. It can be gone in an instant. My mother was totally healthy as far as we knew. She went to bed one night and never woke up. I got a headache one Monday night and it lasted all night. Michael stayed home, and eventually realized something was wrong. He took me to the hospital. I remember waking up that morning, but I don't remember anything more until I woke up in ICU on Thursday night. They told Michael that I was an hour or two away from the point of no return with bacterial meningitis. I had no symptoms until I got that headache. That quickly, I could have stepped into eternity. Today is a gift. Don't waste it. Are you ready if God calls your name? If not, you can me. Feel free to email me if you have questions.

My blessing to share for today is Titus. 6 years ago I struggled through labor and delivery, but the Lord granted me the grace and blessed me greatly with this precious little man. Although he isn't very little any more. :-)

The Lord has blessed us with some new friends, and we spent two days over the weekend visiting with them.
It was a real joy! :)

I just found your blog today but wanted to share my blessing from Monday. My husband was in a bad car accident on his way home from work. We have been counting our blessing since that day that he is still here with our 6 children and me. God is so good, all the time. Blessings ~*B*~
