I won a give away a little while ago. I wanted to share my prize with you. Kim and her family over at In A Shoe run a family business. One of the items they sell are pages from old antique Bibles dating back to pre 1640. They enclose them in protective coverings. You can buy them framed and matted, just matted or as bookmarks. You can read about these on their Geneva Bible Page. I received 3 framed and matted pages and I also received 4 book marks. They are very nicely done. Here is a picture of the front of one. (I actually took this picture from their page). There is a brass plaque at the bottom. The solid brass plaque reads, “Original Leaf, Geneva Bible A.D. 1566-1644″ or “Original Leaf, King James Bible Pre-1640″ depending upon version ordered.
The frames come with glass on both sides so you can see both sides of the page. This is the back of one of mine. It is still enclosed in plastic, so it may be a bit hard to see.
I was thrilled to death with my winnings. These would make wonderful gifts for family for Christmas. Thank you Kim and family for these delightful gifts.

Marci,
Thank you for this very nice review. I was so glad to pull your name from the virtual hat - it's extra fun to have a friend win a drawing! We'd love to meet you someday if you're ever down south.
Neat! My dad has a bible that's been in our family since the 1600's, when they first settled our farm. It's a really neat peice of family history.
Congratulations!
