Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

Today, I want to thank God and count the blessings of His bounty that He provides. Michael and I picked blackberries on Saturday. We just stayed on our property and all our blackberries are planted by God via the birds. Most of them are not ripe yet, but we got at least 3/4 a gallon of berries. We have eaten potatoes and green beans from the garden. The zucchini and yellow squash are coming in and we have enjoyed those. I have enough cukes to make pickles now. The cow is giving good creamy rich milk. She gives more than enough for our needs and several other families. And what is even better about that, is they milk one night a week and take the milk. This gives us a break from milking and provides them with milk. The milk provides butter and cheese for our family as well. Now, we believe that the bees have moved in. Time will tell for sure, but if so, what a wonderful gift from the Lord. We are blessed beyond belief. Thank you Lord!!!

We want to thank you for your prayers. Several of you have asked about Brittany and the baby. She has had another miscarriage.

My blessing that I want to share today is homeschooling. Today is our first day of homeschool for the year and we are all so excited! I hope to have a post up about it later. :-)
