The Heavens Declare His Glory

The heavens tell of the glory of God.

The other night we saw a spectacular display of this. Here are some photos I took.

Skye and Night Skies!!

The puppy is really growing. We are really enjoying her. She fills part of the lonely spots in my days.

I was folding clothes yesterday and she kept trying to get the ones I would shake out before I folded. I have a peach bandanna that I use for a handkerchief. She kept trying to get it from me as I folded it. So, I rolled it up and tied it around her neck. I think it looks cute, but I doubt we will leave it on her. These pictures of it are not very good. She is chewing on her rubber ducky in this first picture. :)

The other evening, the sky was just gorgeous. I took some pictures of it. The first one was with a flash on and the others are with it off. God really was putting on a show that night.

We Got a Little Rain

We got a little bit of rain last night and today. We are grateful for any rain at all. We could sure use more though. :)
Here are some pictures of the sky to the South tonight.

You can see the big headed sunflower that is hanging down on the left side. That one and the other smaller flowers right there are about my height and I am not short. Look how tall that next one is. I have no idea how tall it is, but it is REALLY TALL!!!

Here is another one of my Zinnias.

Does anyone know what these bugs are? I found out that these are called Margined Leatherwings.

Calf on the Lam....

I think I am going to pick the name Houdini for the little calf. He gets out and enjoys his outings. :) I have some videos that show his escapades. Last night when Michael got Buttercup out to milk, he snuck out. He visited the sheep, chased Belle and just generally had a great time. Enjoy!! We are getting a little calf to be his buddy. I will pick from the other names for him.

Here he comes running back again. He scares Belle. She is not sure what to do with him. We were saying last night that she is supposed to be cow dog, but is a coward dog. :)

In this next video if you look off in the background, you will see the Wonderful Neighbor children playing in their yard. :)


He had to go and check out each new thing that moved. Here he saw the cat on the picnic table bench.


There are now six eggs in the bluebird nest. Does anyone know if this is unusual or not?
These are the blackberry blossoms. Looks like we will have a bumper crop this year. The birds planted all of these, but Michael pruned them for the first time this year.
Here is one of our little apples growing, but there is something happening to the tree.
There are dead leaves all over the tree. Any clues as to what is causing it?
I did find this little guy on the leaves. He is no longer with us. :) Is he the cause?
