Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

I am thankful for the Wonderful Neighbor children. They love to come and help us out and do so whenever they can. Last night, I was so tired. I knew I had to milk and had set my mind to do it. I got my chore clothes on and went out with the buckets and calf bottles. Here came the WN children. They wanted to come and milk for us. The two little guys wanted to feed the calves their bottles. God truly blessed me through them doing that. They love to be around us and we love to be around them. We need to work on the little squirt though. She has been sort of fussy with me. :) I did not get the 12 children I longed for, but good friends have always shared theirs and for that I am most grateful.

By the way, Michael has named the 2 calves. Are you ready for this? Bert and Ernie. When I asked if he was serious he said yes. He told me if I did not want to go with Sesame Street then go with the cab driver and policeman in It's A Wonderful Life. :)

I am thankful to have a yard big enough to have a nice garden! I enjoy growing our own food here. That's my blessing today.

Tell Mike neat choice on the names!
Btw, the Sesame St. characters were named for the It's a Wonderful Life characters. :)

I am blessed to have a wise and godly husband, four beautiful children whose bodies are healthy enough to run and jump and play. I am blessed with food to eat and clean water to drink, a warm, dry house to live in, rain to water our crops, chickens to give us eggs, friends to make hay and raise beef and pork for us. I am deeply, deeply blessed to be so deep down sure of my salvation that it leaves a smile on my face and in my life. I am blessed richly indeed! Thank you for encouraging us to count our blessings! said...

I am so blessed because of His grace and mercy. I'm so undeserving, and He died for me! I thank Him so much.
