Saturday, we worked outside in the yard. We were cleaning up flower beds and we discovered that the Daffodils were really coming in. I looked and looked for the Crocus. They are usually the first flower to bloom in my yard and most years they totally surprise me. I couldn't even find their leaves, let alone a bud or anything. Here are some of the daffodils that we found.
This morning, Michael was out hauling off all the dead stuff we pulled out of the beds. He told me to come and look. Yup.... they surprised me again. There were crocus blooming.
I am hoping that everything doesn't freeze and die this week. Here is what is forecast for this week.

Your post made me long for spring! It's bitterly cold here. Thankfully, by the weekend we are supposed to be in the upper 30's. I really should plant some crocus, as they are so cheery.
Hi Marci!
I absolutely love the color of those. That deep purple is gorgeous.
Thanks for the visit and yes you may use the bird.
