We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

Count Your Blessings Monday
I am giving us an opportunity every Monday to not only count our blessings, but to share them with others. This is a way that we can encourage one another. Make a post on your blog telling us about your blessing. Please put a link back to this post. You can add the URL of your blog post on Mr. Linky below. Many of our blessings we will have pictures of and we can share those as well. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us.
Today, I am counting Autumn as a blessing. We lived in Florida for 12 years. We missed the changing of the seasons and we missed the Autumn colors most of all. The pictures below are all taken around here during different years, except the first one. That is a picture that my cousin in New Hampshire sent me from his house. I love the colors of the leaves. From the browns and more plain golds to the brilliant reds, yellows and oranges. I Praise the Lord for making Autumn. He could have made it all just black and white and we would not have known the difference. It makes me wonder how much more there is in heaven!!

I am quite grateful for autumn as well! Just like you I need the change of seasons although we don't have much fall color here. Your pictures are beautiful.
OHH, the pictures are just breathtaking!!! I love Autumn too:)

Marci,
Fall has always been my favorite season for the same reason. The sunsets can be incredible! Fall in the NW is certainly different. Thanks for sharing your stunning photos!!

Beautiful photos. I found you through Paula's blog and i will be back.
My blessing Monday is for family and friends. This weekend was full of enjoying eachothers company and that is a wonderful blessing from our Lord.
Beautiful photos...fall is my favorite season.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. To answer your question, I use Hidcote lavender in my garden. I have tried several different varieties and this one seem to do the best. Cammy
I too love the autumn colors! There isn't much more beautiful than that!
Oh, how gorgeous!
I, too, love autumn and being down south for some time, we have missed it. But we expect to get it this year since we're a little farther north than before.
Yes, He could have made it all black and white but He choose to give us such a variety of different colors. What a beautiful blessing!

Autumn a mosiac of color!!
Florida calls me in the winter months
but Spring and Fall have got to be the best at home!!
I'm with you Marci! Fall is just the loveliest of seasons!
Even the air holds a different feeling doesn't it?
But, alas, it doesn't feel like autumn here. It's been quite hot and humid here on the East Coast.
I'm not in the "fall mood" quite yet....
