I love to see the night skies. The sunsets on some evenings are so intense that you want to hold your breath while watching them. None of the colors in my pictures are even close to the real thing. Nights like last night have colors that would look fake if you tried to paint them. Here are some pictures of the sunset last evening.
We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

You know, we used to have a sports-caster in our area that had one blue eye and one brown eye. I understand that while it's not common, it's not all that rare either. That's probably true in the animal world as well. :-)
What beautiful skies, I love it. Thank you for sharing.
The sunset pics were beautiful. I know what you mean about a painting looking fake if you try to recreate the real colors. On one hand, that doesn't make sense, but on the other, trying to recreate what God did so well just never looks the same!
The kitten is so cute(!) but I bet it sure would fight if anyone tried to cuddle it. Definetely post a pic if you get a close-up of it's eyes.
Take care! And thanks for sharing!
What wonderful sunset photos, and beautiful gladiolas!
I can't tell for sure what the really tall yellow flowers are, but I don't think they are coreopsis. My coreopsis is very short, bushy, and has tiny, tiny yellow flowers on it.
Thank you for your comments at my blog. I'm enjoying your blog very much.
