Cold Blooded Murder

We have a cold blooded, calculating murderer in our area. It is known to strike terror in the hearts of all snowmen. Last month this brown terror struck on our farm. It beheaded my snowman. Some sweet neighbor children came and buried all the bad memories of the first snowman and built me an even bigger and better snowman. He had a beautiful orange carrot nose, two slender brown arms, a scarf and later a hat was added.

That stalking murderer tortured this snowman slowly, killing him over time. First he pulled out that beautiful orange carrot nose. Then he pulled his arms off. The snowman still stood there bravely in the face of these brutal attacks. Then one of the neighbors found evidence that the cruel brown creature was at work again. The snowman's Florida hat was found at the foot of their stairs. Well today, that murderer attacked our snowman with a vengance and knocked him clean over. As you can see below he is dead, done for, obliterated. I will try and get you a picture of the mangy creature that wreaks such havoc on innocent snowmen. Good bye dear snowman. I sure enjoyed you while you were here!!!

my daughter sent me a picture of this year's snowman...he was 6 foot 5 inches tall...as tall has her hubby...lol...and it took every scrap of snow they had in the front yard...looked pretty rough he did...with leaves and such, but I bet he would scare off any creature that meant him harm...
cute post!

I just popped over to see you after your comment on my blog. You are too funny. Love the snowman post. I will be back to read more!
Is Marci your name or is it short for something? My first name is Marcia. People always want to pronounce it "Marsha". It's pronounced Marci-ahh.

Karen, my real name is Marsha. I have never been called that. When my parents had me there was a fight. They had already agreed on Marci. My Dad's Mom said that I should be named something proper. So, while my Mom was up in the hospital bed, my Dad and his mom went and changed the birth certificate. I don't know how my Mom did it, but Marci was always on my school paperwork, it is on my social security and my driver's license. =) When my Mom was mad and I defended my Dad, she would call me Sha Sha. =)

Just found your blog and really like it! I read your "100 things about me" and think it's great about you learning all those instruments. My daughter is 20 and plays the mountain dulcimer (she won state championship three years ago), she plays 5-string banjo, guitar, mandolin, and now learning the fiddle. Southern gospel and bluegrass is all we listen to around here. She is in a local bluegrass gospel group and loves it! Stop over at my site sometime. I'll be back!

Hi Marci! I've just been catching up with everything happening at your place. Hm, a mystery! Is it one of your cows doing the dastardly deed? A deer? A dog? We haven't had any snow sticky enough to build a proper snowman but then again, it's been so cold that Anna-Rose doesn't even want to play outdoors. Today was around 40, almost felt like spring, and the rest of the week is supposed to be pretty mild, too. Can't say I'm unhappy about that!

Marci, I've been wanting to ask you this, is the piano music on your blog played by you? It's so lovely.

I know who the murderer is, but I will never tell. You will have to catch the murderer in action and actually show evidence. If you do, I will tell. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
