We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

Cold Even With The Sun
The sun came out this afternoon. It was dazzling on the white of the snow. However, it was very cold out there and it is going to get even colder. I believe the low for tomorrow night is 9 degrees.
We can be like that. We can smile and act like we are OK or that we like certain persons, but on the inside we can be cold and lonely or mad. We let the smile go before us. However, too often that smile tells the story. Very few people if any can smile with genuine warmth radiating from it and have it be fake. Some people's entire countenance changes when they smile. It makes you want to think of things that will cause them to smile again. We need to try to let the real SON shine through us to others. To let His warmth flow from us to them.
Matt. 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven

Great allegory, Marci!
Thanks for sharing your snow. We have only had a dusting until today and our whopping inch only arrived a couple of hours ago.
Beautiful snow pictures, Marci!!

I really like your "Daily Proverb." I'm going to have to see if I can fit that in the sidebar of my blog!
