I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Today, I am grateful for all the sunshine we have had this winter. Ohio is known for its long gray and dark winter. We have had more sunshine than darkness this year. So far it has been a very mild winter with short breaks of colder weather. Right now the sun is shining and it is 46°.

I am thankful for Truth. Our flesh may not always want to hear it, but we need to. We can run from truth or try to change it, but truth is truth, period. I pray the Lord keeps me striving towards truth. John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

We have been fighting illness since New Year's Eve and were finally all well enough to attend church together on Sunday and to go visit some dear friends for part of the day today. The weather was beautiful!
