Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

Seeing all the devastation in Japan makes me so thankful for all the blessings all around me. I take so much for granted and I need to daily thank the Lord for all that is "normal" in my life. My heart goes out to the people of Japan. So much heartache, sorrow, loss and death. I want to keep praying for them and do what I can from here. So, today I will be thankful for my blessings all around me and pray for those whose lives suddenly changed forever.

What are YOU thankful for?

I am so thankful for my family's safety and security during such troubled times. It's so important not to take our food and shelter and water for granted. Just a little flooding can wreak havoc in our lives, but we still have a bed to sleep in and food to eat, and each other to love... all of our whereabouts known to each other. My heart breaks and aches for Japan, too. So I will continue praying for all of those people in shock and turmoil, coping with tragic circumstances under continuing threat from mother nature. Thank God for my family, our safety, and our security. Thank you for posting, Marci...
