Weather and Birthdays

Today is my birthday. I can't believe that I am now 51. When does the little girl inside grow up and feel old? I have gotten lots of wonderful phone calls, emails, well wishes on a forum and facebook greetings.

The Wonderful Neighbor Momma and Girl came over to visit me. The WN Girl knows that I love snowmen, so she made me this cake. Isn't it adorable. They had called before they came and told me to put the coffee on, which I did. So, when I saw the cake, I was thrilled. Then I was informed, it is for tonight with Michael.

They also got me the next book in a series I am reading. They are reading it as well, so I need to read fast so they can borrow it. :) It is #11 of 12 books in the A.D. Chronicles by Brock & Bodie Thoene. They are so good, but if you are not married, I would recommend you wait to read them. The WN Momma is reading them out loud to her family, so she is able to skip over a few things. There is nothing vulgar or bad, just a few things I would not be comfortable having a non-married daughter or son read.

The WN Girl also designed another apron. Remember the darling Scarecrow apron she made? Well, she has designed a new one. I will be putting it up in my store. I LOVE this one!!!! Blue gingham mitten pockets. I LOVE IT!!!

We have had some really strange weather. The other day, it was blowing snow like crazy.

This morning, the wind picked up and it is really blowing hard out there. The sky was really weird. Here are some shots of the sky.

The lighting outside keeps changing and it is really neat to watch. It was spitting snow a minute ago, but it has quit again. :)
