Give Away!!

The folks over at In A Shoe have a family business. They sell pages from Geneva Bibles that are over 400 years old. They don't destroy an old Bible. Here is what their page says about where they get the pages from:

Pages like ours come from “breaker books.” These are books that have become too damaged over the centuries to retain their value as collectors’ items. Instead, the salvageable portions are preserved as fragments - collections of leaves or individual leaves like ours.

So please rest assured: no Bibles were harmed in the creation of these magnificent treasures. Rather, we hope to preserve these irreplaceable fragments of our Christian heritage for generations to come.

They over ordered - double actually - our stock, but instead of sending it back they decided to keep it and put their inventory on sale. They are running a 40% off sale over at Geneva Bible Pages. We've even created a special Family Bundle at 50% off!

Go check out their page and help this family out and get a treasure for your home or as a gift.

Also, if you post about it you will be entered to win 4 items of your choice which could be a $400 retail value.

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
