Sunshine and Snow

We got at least a couple of inches of snow yesterday. When I went to bed last night it was still snowing. Today, the sun is shining brightly making an almost blinding light against the fresh whiteness of the snow. I thought I would share some pictures.

This first picture is of our Christmas tree. We have not brought it in yet. :) I am trying to get things arranged in the house to make room for it. I am giving Joshua and Brittany all of his ornaments and some of the old family ones. I thought my tree was going to be sort of bare this year. I got an early birthday package in the mail yesterday from Sharri. She included several darling ornaments in the package. Thanks Sharri!!!

The sheep are all gathered around eating the hay. They almost blend in with the snow and the weeds. :)

These are tracks outside the back door. They were probably made by one of the dogs.

It is currently 20 degrees with a wind chill of 7.

  1. I am sooooooo ready for snow! Once the Christmas tree goes up, I want a fire in the fireplace and snow on the ground. Most of our snow here in Texas comes in February, so I may have to wait a while :) Stay warm and enjoy your Sunday afternoon.

  2. Hi Marci, your landscape looks like ours! I don't know what the temperature is outside, but it must be cold because no one wants to be outside. Good day to relax and do some fun things like sewing. Pig processing starts tomorrow.

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
