Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Today, would have been my Mom's 77th birthday. She is greatly missed, but I would not wish her back for anything in the world. I use this occasion to remind people to make right any wrongs between you and another person. Call and tell those you love that you love them. None of us are promised a tomorrow and you don't want to have regrets.

Here are some pictures of my sweet Mom.

Happy Birthday Mom!!! I miss you greatly!!!

  1. Marci,
My prayers are with you this day. May Father fill your heart with wonderful memories and the realization that your time apart is but a blink of His eye!
    Blessings,

  2. Happy Birthday to your Mom. God bless her. I lost my Mom a little over 3 weeks ago. The holidays will be very difficult this year but she is with Jesus. What a blessing it is to have a Christian mother. Mom was such a gifted person. I'm sure she is painting pictures in the clouds, writing poetry for the angels and keeping everyone laughing! I miss her so much!

  5. Thinking of you tonight Marci. I know it has been 8 years and I still really miss my Dad and wish I could call him up and talk. We lived so far apart that we were used to not seeing each other and enjoyed lengthy phone conversations. Every once in awhile I still get the urge to pick up the phone and hear his booming voice!

Is that your Mom's pug? I had one growing up and even though I'm a "big dog person", I loved that dog!

I hope the Lord is blessing you with sweet memories today.

  6. Thinking of you today as well. I would have loved to have known your Mom. My guess is she was as special as you are.

  7. I'm not sure if my comment made it in here, but wanted you to know I am thinking of you. What a special lady she was, and from what I can tell, you are so much like her.

  8. Thank you all for your kind words. I was truly blessed with the Mom I had, and Lynn, I do hope that one day I am like her. She left some pretty big shoes to fill. I just went to my Aunt's funeral yesterday. It sounds like my Mom and her big sister were very much alike in the legacy department.

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
