Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for you to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in your life. If you have a blog, please sign Mr. Linky below and post on your blog. Please link back to this blog and you may use the picture above. If you do not have a blog, leave a comment on this post telling us what you are thankful for and what you are counting as a blessing today. This is a way that we can encourage one another. Many of our blessings we will have pictures of and we can share those as well. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. They encourage others. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

Today, I want to count the blessing of my sweet husband. I know I have counted him as a blessing before, but I could count him as a blessing each and every day. He is a true sweetheart and has the patience of Job. He has after all been married to me for almost 30 years. :) We have grown up together. Here we are in December of 1978. He was 21 and I had just turned 20.

We got married in April of 1979.

I am not sure how old this picture is, but it is at least 10 or 12 years old.

This was taken at my son's wedding in October.
Michael has been a wonderful and faithful provider and friend. He opens car doors and doors for me. He thanks me for the meals I cook. He took such sweet tender care of me when I had meningitis. He does little things to make my life easier. He sometimes lets me win games (although I really don't mind losing). He encourages me when I am down. He holds me and lets me cry when I need to. He can laugh with me and even sometimes at me, but not in a mean way. He will occasionally stop and pick wild flowers that he brings home to me, or he will surprise me with a bouquet for no reason. He listens to my dreams, desires and complaints. I am truly a blessed woman. He has really been reaching out to me since Joshua is gone. It has been almost like another honeymoon. I am very grateful to God for giving me the gift of this man. I love him with all that I am.

  2. Sweet hubbys ARE a precious blessing. How lucky you are! Have a great Monday Marci!

BTW - I'm really enjoying some things in the box of goodies you sent. I tried the Dandy-drink - it's not like anything I've had before. I REALLY like the soap. My hubby likes the tea. Thanks so much.

  5. I agree--your dh is a wonderful blessing that you should count over and over!

Btw, I do NOT believe that one picture is of you two--I think it is someone else--IT DOESN"T LOOK LIKE EITHER ONE OF YOU!'

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
