Today is the day that the turkeys are processed and made ready for our customers. This really helps to eliminate some of Michael's evening chores. Here are some pictures of them he took last night. They are big birds!!
We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.
We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.
May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
They look great...I bet they will look even better on a plate! Nothing better than fresh turkey (or any meat). I bet your customers really appreciate you and your husband!
ReplyDeleteBoy, those turkeys grew fast! It seems like I just saw them and they were so small...! Well, check that box. :-D
ReplyDeleteThose are some big birds, wow!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!
Hugs,
Kelli

ReplyDeleteI wish I loved close enough to buy one for Thanksgiving! :0)
(I'm actually having to cook 2 this year one is 20 lbs and one is 13lbs)
Glad Michael's chore list will be a bit shorter.
