We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

A New Revolution?
I found this over on Kim's blog. I would love to hear what you think of this up coming movie. You will have to turn the music off over on the side bar.
It would be interesting to see the entire film. I hate to say it, but I think that one statement is right. She said, "People hate children." Most think they are cute but want nothing to do with them. I only have 3 and people think I am crazy for having that many.
I saw this too and was really excited about seeing the final product. I visited their site and I'm hoping to have the funds to pre-order it before Oct. 1st. I can't tell you how many professing Christians that I come across that look at me like I've sprouted horns when I mention that I hope the Lord will bless us with a few more children before I'm too old (I'm 41 now). I definitely think most people today find children to be a "necessary evil" since humanity would become extinct without children, we must continue to have them, but not because anybody *really* wants them.:-p In my own family (mother, brothers, sister) I am the only one who has had more than 2 and my sister has recommended to her children that they not have any!She says that of course if they *really* want them, they should have them, but she doesn't think that it's a wise thing to do in today's society! It really saddens me, but frankly, if that's how they feel about children, then they should have them. Of course, I'm the only born again believer in my family, so that probably partially explains their stance. Anyway, I'm anxious to get this and see it when it's completed.
I just read my own comment and realized that I meant to write.. but frankly, if that's how they feel about children then they shouldn't have them. They definitely should not have them. :-)

If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.
