Life On The Farm...

These are just some pictures from around the farm. I love the first one. This is George the Third. The picture is taken through the glass jar he is residing in. He was just munching away on those leaves.

The next 3 are of the calves from this year. The first honey colored steer calf is Phil A. Mignon. The spotted brown and white jersey heifer (girl) is Clover and the Dark jersey/angus steer is Hamburger Patrick or Patty for short.

This is Sir Loin of Beef. He is a yearling steer. I love his coloring.

Here are some shots of the dogs. Belle had gone way up in the pasture while we were out at the big barn. Star and Dixie layed down together near us.

Here is a shot of Buttercup. She has been the best cow. So gentle and sweet.

  1. Buttercup is an old lady now. How old is she? How long do cows live, usually?

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
