I thought that title might catch your attention. I tried to get a picture to show you, but will need help. Everytime I tried to get a picture from the right angle to see the green, she moved. We have not had to cut our grass much at all this summer because it was so dry. We received some much needed rain last week and the grass grew. First, we had to walk the yard and pick up all the puppy toys.... sand bucket I used to have a flower in, an old shoe, bones, several black 4" pots that we brought flowers home in, an actual store bought rope with knots to chew on and play tug of war with, pieces of wood, roots off of weeds we pulled..... You get the picture. Then I cut the grass in the front yard. Well, Dixie must have played hard in the freshly cut grass because her legs and belly are green. I thought maybe she was practicing for St. Patricks Day.
We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.
May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
We had the same thing last night, but instead of Shad...it was Titus and Elisabeth with the green legs. =)
