Count Your Blessings Monday

I am giving us an opportunity every Monday to not only count our blessings, but to share them with others. This is a way that we can encourage one another. Make a post on your blog telling us about your blessing. Please put a link back to this post. You can add the URL of your blog post on Mr. Linky below. Many of our blessings we will have pictures of and we can share those as well. This has been sort of slow to catch on, but it is growing. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us.

This week I am counting my sheep as a blessing (not to go to sleep by). I love sheep and am grateful to be able to own them. I have Shetland Sheep. They come in all colors and the wool can be so different on each sheep. My original two sheep were a gift from friends. They are in the first picture.... Grace and Sunshine. I still have Sunshine.

My favorite children's book starts off with a Grandma holding her first Grandchild. The artwork in the book is gorgeous. The Mom has just had the baby at home and Grandma takes him and wraps him in a blanket made from the wool of her very own sheep. That is my dream for someday when I get my first grandchild.

  3. Oh I love sheep! We had three lambs that we raised by bottle and just loved them....
Thanks for putting my name in Mr Linky for me! With the time difference between Aus & the US I thought I'd write my post last night (mon) and link in this morning (tues!). But you've done it for me :) Thanks!

    Love,

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
