We are ready for a TRUE spring!!!

My husband went to let the dogs out one last time last night. This is what greeted him. We couldn't believe our eyes!! When we woke up this morning, there was about an inch of snow on the ground and it was snowing. We got up and got everything ready to go to church. We were meeting at someone's house who lives about an hour away. We were not sure what the roads would be like, since this snow was not predicted. The roads were fine and so we left for church. We got about 8 miles north of here and there was NO snow on the ground. After going about another 10 miles, you could see snow in places, but only a dusting. We got the bulk of the snow.

As we arrived home from church, all the snow had melted and the green grass was showing once again. This has been a really strange spring. I am ready for some warmer weather. =)

Well, Marci, you had more snow than we did! Deanna may have been dumped on, but we only received a few flakes. Kind of nice, but we had cold temps instead.

Hey Marci!
It was the coldest Easter Sunday here I could ever remember. Our pecan trees are burnt because of the cold temps & some of them are so young that Danny is worried sick. Danny has been going around saying that global warming is going to be the death of us! LOL!

They say Easter was colder than Christmas was this year here. I know that there was more snow! Searching for more firewood....

npqavhyrHi Marci!
We didn't get no snow, but the cold got our beautiful azaleas.
As you know our son and his family were in from Ohio and they left the beaches of SC to go home to a foot of snow in Beachwood Ohio. I do not know if you are near Cleveland or not.
It was a beautiful Easter Sunday however! Heatherdmc, it was also colder here than it was at Christmas last year. Blue skies and sunshine though.
Hope you have a blessed day.

We had a dusting of snow...much less than you had. What a surprise! After these last couple of cold mornings, I'm afraid my azaleas are done for.

We had snow and for a moment I was wondering if we should greet fellow church-goers with a hearty "Merry Christmas" or what!
