To Snow Or Not To Snow

When I opened my blinds this morning, these 2 pictures are what I saw. The first picture is the dogs out front. We had a bit of snow on the ground. It was barely showing in the grass. Out back in the garden area (second picture) you can see quite a bit of white on the ground. It was not long before it all melted. It started flurrying again, and then quit. Start and stop, start and stop.

I looked outside a little bit ago and it was almost a white out. It looked like a blizzard since the wind was blowing pretty strongly. Then it just settled into what you see below... nice big flakes. I did not realize until I cropped the picture with the pond in it that there were 2 geese down by the pond. Can you see them? If you click on the picture you will see a larger version of it. The current temperature at 1PM is 30 degrees. We covered a couple of our plants last night. It is not unusual to get a dusting of snow in early April. The temperature normally rises and it is gone. The temperatures are supposed to stay cold for at least the next 3 or 4 days. I hope it does not kill a bunch of plants off. This is not typical weather. The Lord likes to keep us guessing!!!
