We are very blessed to live on a farm. We love old fashioned ways of doing things that seem to be fading away. We realize that this lifestyle is not for everyone but we are very grateful that God allows us to enjoy it.

Where is Winter?
It is truly amazing. It is 10PM here in Ohio in January. The wind is blowing outside. Sounds cold, doesn't it? Well, it is 60 degrees. That is undheard of. Where is winter?

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.
May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
I know! We just got back from my in-laws and I probably didn't even need to wear my jacket! Go figure. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, Marci, you can come and visit us (and bring your family of 10) and experience winter!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying this springlike weather. Even though I love the change of seasons, snow is not my favorite form of precipitation. Only when it's coming down. Then it can go away, thank you very much! We had mid-60's here today and more of the same is predicted for tomorrow, though it is raining a bit. I love it because I know what is inevitably coming in February when it's always frigid. Of course Anna-Rose would be perfectly happy running around in shorts, if not entirely naked, year 'round. I blame it on her Finnish ancestry. I keep telling him we need to build her a sauna! :) As you can imagine, the issue of modesty is an ongoing battle around here!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying the weather as well, especially when I do chores. =) However, we do need a serious freeze this year to kill off the bugs and weeds.
ReplyDeleteWe lived in Florida for 12 years. We really missed the seasons, so I don't complain about the snow. I love to watch the snow fall.
My husband thinks that we'll get bombarded with cold temps and snow in a few weeks. He thinks this can't go on all winter, so we're probably in for it later. Yippee!! I love the snow and the cold temperatures.
