Happy Birthday Mom!!

Today, my Mom would have been 75 years old. This is her second birthday celebration in heaven. I really miss her and especially so these past few weeks, when I would have loved to talk to her and had her pray with me about things going on in our life. She was a great Mom and she left behind a legacy for us. I just pray that all of her family will come to know and love the Savior that she loved and served so faithfully. That was her deepest desire and wish. She wanted to see each one of us seeking God and serving Him faithfully and being a light in this dark world. Thanks for letting me share my Mom with you today.

Today was turkey butchering day. They are all now chilling in ice waiting for people to pick them up. One less chore on the farm for the winter.

May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Don't forget to take time to thank the Lord for the many blessings in your life.

  2. Marci,

With your posts encouraging us to call our Mothers and to not waste the days we have with them, you have helped me greatly. A year ago my Mom went through a really hard six months where we barely spoke to each other. Thankfully we have worked through it and have forgiven each other. We are really close and I'm starting to see that this spat might have even drawn us closer. Thank you for the reminders you give us. I'll be praying for you as I know this must be a hard time for you.

    ((hugs)),
    Karen

    Happy Thanksgiving!

We love having people visit our blog. Please take the time to leave a note so that we know you were here. You don't have to have a blog to leave a note. If you have something negative to say, you are welcome to say it. However, if you leave it anonymously it will not be posted. It seems the people who like to correct me or say ugly things, don't want to leave their name or a way I can respond to them.

May the Lord richly bless each of you!!!
