I happened to be reading that Psalm on my lunch hour and had left my bible open to it. It had been a particularly bad time for me.. The first man who came into my office glanced at my bible and asked what I'd been reading. I told him and we had a BRIEF discussion about it. He was so moved by what Psalm 121 had to say that he shared it with the other men in the waiting room. Inmates aren't permitted to carry pens and pencils..they began "chanting" in the waiting room.."Psalm 121" over and over.

That was so that they could remember which number it was, and could read it themselves when they got back to their cells. All that week, I had feedback from many inmates who said, "Thanks Doc for sharing 121 with us..it gives us HOPE."

Yes, indeed it does..Thank you God for the wonderful message of strength and HOPE of that psalm..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28363093.post-1163442643894531682006-11-13T13:30:00.000-05:002006-11-13T13:30:00.000-05:00Ah yes, the Everlasting Arms, hold us close, yet w...Ah yes, the Everlasting Arms, hold us close, yet we still feel hurt. Knowing God is in control and that His only desire is for our good is where we find peacePattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08505042214124811641noreply@blogger.com
