The Big Snow

As you can tell from the pictures above, we got lots of snow. We think it is somewhere around 7" although we are hearing higher amounts. There are also a couple inches of ice in there. The snowman in the second picture is a Florida Gator fan as you can tell. That is for our Florida friends who read this blog. My son put the hat on the snowman again today. It was so funny to watch the dogs walk on the snow. They would walk on the top of it because of the ice. However, every few steps one of their legs would fall through. It was like a drunken gait as they wandered around checking everything out. The bucket in the fourth picture is a 5 gallon bucket. The basket in the top picture is a bushel basket. We have had snow fall off and on through out the day, but it really did not add any accumulation to speak of. I love to look out and see the snow all pristine and white. I especially love it when it has not yet been marred by feet.

Well, I just wanted to share our snow pictures with you. Did any of you get a big snow or ice from this storm? I really love snow and I have thanked God for sending what He did.

Plenty of snow here in Western PA and a little ice in between too. Brrr... and I like it but today I chose to enjoy it mostly from the inside.
