Then he went on to say that either it is a "perfecting storm or a correcting storm". Did I bring this storm on myself..then I need to change some things...if it is a storm that is not of my own doing...fires, death, loss of job...then that is a perfecting storm. Either way the purpose is so Holy Spirit can draw us to the Father & better our relationship.I wish I could be like Paul & sing from with in the prison...sometimes I can but more often I am complaining. I reckon that is why HE is always got me close to a storm. I know you're already praying for me so ...Hi Marci! I know you're already praying for me so the words in your post are very meaningful to me during my time of physical trial. I pray that others will be touched as well, and remember that God is not out to get us, nor is He punishing us, but that we are continually be molded, shaped, and refined. Being in pain (whether physical or emotional) makes it difficult to focus but I think it is all about immersing ourselves in Him and surrendering all to Him.
