Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

This weeks blessing I am counting is my wonderful husband. He is so patient and gentle and caring. He looks out for me and makes sure I am taken care of. We have heard of so many marriages, even ones we thought were rock solid, that have just crumbled. I am so grateful that my sweet man is always willing to work with me, listen to me and work things out. I am truly blessed!!

What are YOU thankful for?

Amen, Marci. I love my sweet husband too. My heart breaks for all the "rock solid" marriages that are crumbling all around us. I asked a wonderful Christian friend why she thought her great marriage ended in divorce. She told me that they started taking each other for granted. They stopped taking time to share their hearts with one another. It didn't take long for them to grow apart from one another and for him to find some one who did have the time to share with him. A sad lesson to learn I am sure. I too am thankful for my husband and our wonderful marriage.
grace and peace,
julie

I am so blessed to have been able to spend the weekend with my daughters and grands. To see my beautiful mountains again was a extra special blessing.
