Count Your Blessings Monday!!

Here is an opportunity for all of us to give thanks unto the Lord for a blessing in our lives. If you would like to take part great. If not that is OK too. If you would like to share your blessing, just leave it in the comments. If you want to use the picture above and list a blessing on your own site, then leave a URL to your site in the comments. There is no pressure here. I just know that I am incredibly blessed and I would like to share that and give thanks to Him who all blessing come from. This is a way that we can encourage one another. I know that I am often encouraged when someone shares a blessing with me. I think that many times we forget that it is a blessing to be able to breath, to get out of bed, to hold a baby... Share your blessings with us. We can share so many other things.... special gifts, recipes, let's take the time to share how God has blessed us!!

My blessing this week is that my dear sweet Michael was home on Friday and home again today. We worked on the garden this weekend. We got a lot done and I have pains in places I didn't even know I had. :) It is a joy to work together.

Here is the lettuce we picked. We had a big salad for dinner that night with some left over chicken on it.

I hope to replant something where the peas were (on the left). You see the row of beets and on the right is the potatoes. I am not sure they are doing too well. I will have to have Faith Like Potatoes.
The green beans are going up these fence pieces. The raised bed of lettuce is just beyond them with sunflowers growing up on both sides. Then I have a raised bed of flowers and the raised bed with herbs. I hung those things down from the fence, hoping to keep birds off of it. They are pooping all over everything in the garden.

This is the fence piece I hope the cucumbers grow up on. Michael had a few extra seeds of corn when he was done with his row. He stuck them in by this bed to see if they would come up. :)
The front part under the white insect barrier is cabbage. There are melons planted behind them. On the other side is tomatoes and peppers with corn beyond.
What has God blessed you with this week?
