Wee George is Almost Ready!!

I know that many of you are sick of George. =) That is OK. I am still fascinated as I am every year!! Click on the 2 pictures below and you will see that the chrysalis is now clear instead of green. You can see Wee George's wings inside. He will probably come out of the chrysalis tonight. Where did the green come from? Where did it go? If you look at the last George post you will see that the gold is still on the empty chrysalis. What a miracle!!!!

    I have never seen a butterfly inside the cocoon before!

    There is a darling french film called "The Butterfly" about a grouchy old man who collects butterfly's and his heart is softened by a young girl who enters his world uninvited.

    Your post reminds me of it!
