Where is Winter?

It is truly amazing. It is 10PM here in Ohio in January. The wind is blowing outside. Sounds cold, doesn't it? Well, it is 60 degrees. That is undheard of. Where is winter?

I know! We just got back from my in-laws and I probably didn't even need to wear my jacket! Go figure. ;)

Well, Marci, you can come and visit us (and bring your family of 10) and experience winter!

I'm enjoying this springlike weather. Even though I love the change of seasons, snow is not my favorite form of precipitation. Only when it's coming down. Then it can go away, thank you very much! We had mid-60's here today and more of the same is predicted for tomorrow, though it is raining a bit. I love it because I know what is inevitably coming in February when it's always frigid. Of course Anna-Rose would be perfectly happy running around in shorts, if not entirely naked, year 'round. I blame it on her Finnish ancestry. I keep telling him we need to build her a sauna! :) As you can imagine, the issue of modesty is an ongoing battle around here!

I am enjoying the weather as well, especially when I do chores. =) However, we do need a serious freeze this year to kill off the bugs and weeds.

We lived in Florida for 12 years. We really missed the seasons, so I don't complain about the snow. I love to watch the snow fall.

My husband thinks that we'll get bombarded with cold temps and snow in a few weeks. He thinks this can't go on all winter, so we're probably in for it later. Yippee!! I love the snow and the cold temperatures.
